Day 1 in Seattle

G'day Mates, After being on the train for 41 hours, I finally arrived in Seattle, Washington. The reality of this feeling still feels unreal. The feeling is more like going on an unlimited holiday that does not have an ending. As I got off the train with my three luggages and a backback, I took a deep breath of the fresh morning brisk air. Then I said to myself, "is this really real." Afterwards I requested an Uber to the Green Tortoise Hostel. This is the hostel where I will be working and staying at for the next two months. Thus far my coworkers seem like pretty cool people from all over. Some of the locations are Madison, St. Louis, Ontario, Toronto and Montana. As I dropped of my luggaged in my room and showered to refresh. I noticed there were a free walking tour to a small neighborhood of Seattle called Fremont. The Leap to Seattle

        G'day Mates! My journey has officially kicked off to the Pacific Northwest of Seattle, Washington. Leaving Milwaukee has been bittersweet, because I won't see some of my friends for awhile and the Midwest culture will be missed as well. It is amazing as I embrace a new journey, how much I impacted people in numerous of ways. Some of these relationships connections has been unique, and I only hope they continue to grow as time goes on. At the moment I am enjoying my first one way ticket train ride to my new home city. The train ride from Milwaukee to Seattle is 41 hours, but there is a special bond you get to experience throughout the journey with strangers. For example, as I were searching for an open seat I found this seat next to this older lady. As we started to talk, I found out she is from the UK.
